Do Not Be Fooled by the Lord's Illusory Energy

Lord Sri Krishna states in Bhagavad-gita 7.14:

daivī hy eṣā guṇa-mayī
mama māyā duratyayā
mām eva ye prapadyante
māyām etāṁ taranti te

"This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it."

Thus the simple way to avoid being fooled by the Lord's illusory energy (which is divine because it comes from Him) is to surrender to Him under the guidance of the bonafide spiritual master. We have to be intelligent enough to understand that this is what we must do in order to be happy.

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada.

Gurudevji how to ensure that in my next life I am born in a spiritual devotional family where in I can progress and entirely focus on getting closer to Shri krishna and not on nonsensical material things. Like I wish to be born where in from childhood only I am on this bhakti path listening to lectures travelling to iskcon centers, getting devotee and guruji association, chanting etc.

Please tell me how can I ensure that I get this life in my next birth, what can I do in this life to ensure that.

By seriously taking up the path of Krishna bhakti in this lifetime if you do not complete the process you are assured of getting a
situation in your next life that is favorable for continuing your spiritual path. But instead of making this request you should be inquiring how to complete the process of fully awakening your dormant Krishna consciousness in this lifetime.T his can be easily be done by following the instructions given by Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
