Birds of a Feather Flock Together

You develop your consciousness according to the company that you keep. Since we have a natural inborn tendency, just like the monkeys in the photo below, to associate with other human beings, we should wisely choose to associate with those who are serious about awakening their dormant Krishna consciousness. Such association will easily help us to progress on the path of awakening our dormant Krishna consciousness.

If we associate with drunkards we become drunkards. If we associate with sex mongers we become sex. mongers. If we associate with cigarette smokers we become cigarette smokers, etc, etc. And if we associate with devotees we become devotees.

So now you choose with whom you want to associate and those whose association you want to eliminate or minimize as much as possible.

I hope you make the right choice.

Hare Krishna,

Danvat Pranam Srila Gurudev And Gurumata ji,
Please accept my humble obeisances.

Srila Gurudev, in the past few days, I have not sent you any Ekadashi sadhana reports or any other emails because I was in ignorance and was not even chanting or doing anything Krishna conscious.

Even if I was doing it, I would do it for one or two days and then not do anything for the rest of the day.

The main issue I am feeling is that I do not know why I should do it, why I need to go to Golok, and why I should be Krishna conscious.

Srila Gurudev, I hear from devotees, my intelligence tells me, and you send these emails every day telling me how Krishna consciousness is important, but I am not feeling the importance of it from my heart.

Srila Gurudev, I do not understand what is going on with me.
Please help me.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
