We are back in Mauritius now, a place that abounds in natural beauty and many of the people are Krishna conscious. Even at passport control the agent said "Hare Krishna" to us. With the many devotees here there is a wonderful mood here of being a member of a glorious spiritual family.

Question: Why Devotees Face Reversals?

Thankyou for sharing all this knowledge. I am Vishakha.

I have following question :
Shastras proclaim that if you worship Krishna there will be nothing wrong but still devotees face reversals in life. Why does that happen and what should they do after this happens? And how to be fearless in life?

For example, why does Krishna's devotee undergo miscarriage in 6th month or later in pregnancy?

Regarding reversals for saintly people my beloved spiritual master Srila Prabhupada has written as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, 4th Canto, Chapter 19, Text 34:

"Sometimes the saintly or very religious person also has to meet with reversals in life. Such incidents should be taken as providential. Although there may be sufficient cause for being unhappy, one should avoid counteracting such reversals, for the more we become implicated in rectifying such reversals, the more we enter into the darkest regions of material anxiety. Lord Kṛṣṇa has also advised us in this connection. We should tolerate things instead of becoming agitated."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
