Anger Can Be Used in Krishna's Service

In his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 4, Chapter 4, Text 10 Srila Prabhupada explains how anger can be used in the service of Krishna:

"...when Viṣṇu or a Vaiṣṇava is insulted, one should be angry. Lord Caitanya, who always preached nonviolence, meekness and humility, also became angry when Nityānanda was offended by Jagāi and Mādhāi, and He wanted to kill them. When Viṣṇu or a Vaiṣṇava is blasphemed or dishonored, one should be very angry. Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura said, 'krodha' bhakta-dveṣi jane. We have anger, and that anger can be a great quality when directed against a person who is envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead or His devotee. One should not be tolerant when a person is offensive towards Viṣṇu or a Vaiṣṇava."

By such anger used in the service of the Lord and His devotees we make spiritual advancement.

Answer: Our Foolish Decision

From: Around the World Lecture Tour

My Dear Anushka,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

We get the reactions because we caused ourselves to become puppets of Maya by our foolish decision to try to enjoy separately from Krishna.

I hope this meets you in the best of health.

Your ever well-wisher,
