Reward Yourself Instead of Punishing Yourself

As long as we try to enjoy separately from Krishna here in this material world where life is temporary full ignorance and full of misery we are factually doing nothing but punishing ourselves no matter how much so called success we may have here. However we can reward ourselves unlimitedly by going back to our original home in the spiritual world where life is eternal, full of knowledge, and full of bliss. This most auspicious result is attained simply by our following the instructions given by Lord Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita.

Hare Krishna, dear Srila Gurudeva,

Hemanga Prabhu, I and little Balarama are planning to attend Your Grace's Vyasa puja in Vrindavan and render some service. We are very fortunate to celebrate the occasion along with all our God brothers and God sisters. Having missed attending in-person many of Your Vyasapuja ceremonies before, Krishna showered His causeless mercy upon the unfortunate souls by giving us another opportunity to please Your Grace.

Srila Gurudeva, we, therefore, seek your blessings and permission to enter Vrindavan Dham in the right mood of service and not commit any offenses. Please let us know how we can render service unto Your Grace, Srimati Gurumataji and all the Vaishnavas.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
