The Whole World is Waiting to be Awakened to Krishna Consciousness

Srila Prabhupada has revealed to us in a lecture he gave in Mumbai, India on 7 January 1973 that the whole world is waiting to become Krishna conscious. Therefore just as when there is an epidemic compassionate medical doctors come forward to offer their services to heal the diseased, similarly all those who are Krishna conscious should now rise to the occasion by dedicating their lives for making the whole world Krishna conscious.

One may argue, "This is impossible so why even try?". But in the Itihāsa-samuccaya, Nārada tells Puṇḍarīka:

janmāntara-sahasreṣu yasya syād buddhir īdṛśī
dāso ’haṁ vāsudevasya sarvāl lokān samuddharet

“After many, myany births, when a person realizes that he is the eternal servant of Vāsudeva, he can deliver all the worlds.”

(quoted by Srila Prabhupada in his purport to Caitanya Caritamrita,

Madhya Lila, Chapter 8, Verse 246)

Therefore, we have no excuse to neglect our duty of awakening the world to Krishna consciousness.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
