The Bona Fide Spiritual Master Can Save the World

It is confirmed in the Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Madhya Lila, Chapter 22, Text 65 the bona fide spiritual master can deliver the world:

śāstra-yuktye sunipuṇa, dṛḍha-śraddhā yāṅra
’uttama-adhikārī’ sei tāraye saṁsāra

“One who is expert in logic, argument and the revealed scriptures and who has firm faith in Kṛṣṇa is classified as a topmost devotee. He can deliver the whole world."

We have seen that Srila Prabhupada is such a devotee. So now if the people of this world will take his teachings seriously, it is sure and certain that the whole world will be delivered from ignorance and misery. May that day come soon! May that day come soon!

Why do disciples of a guru blindly agree with whatever he says, even though common sense reveals that the claim made by the guru is false?

Answer: The Bona Fide Guru Should Be Followed

Dear Vishwanath,

This is true for the bogus gurus, the charlatans, which the world is unfortunately full of and being very much misdirected by at the present time. I was misled by many such bogus gurus until I was fortunate to find the bona fide spiritual master who blessed me with transcendental knowledge. The great difficulty in our modern day world is that common sense is almost non-existent. Everyone is foolishly misidentifying with their material bodies, which are coverings of their actual selves, not their actual selves. Thus instead of common sense we are tortured by common ignorance. This is why the world needs the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master to bring us back to common sense. The bona fide spiritual master can solve all the problems of the world both individually and collectively. Therefore may everyone, especially the world’s leaders, now take advantage of the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master, who enlightens us with transcendental knowledge, and make their lives perfect.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee.
