Whose Lives Matter?
Do Cow's Lives Matter?
At present the Black Lives Matter movement is going on with great momentum in many places throughout the world. But why only black lives? Krishna teaches us in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 5, Text 18:
vidyā-vinaya-sampanne
brāhmaṇe gavi hastini
śuni caiva śva-pāke ca
paṇḍitāḥ sama-darśinaḥ
"The humble sages, by virtue of true knowledge, see with equal vision a learned and gentle brāhmaṇa, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater [outcaste]."
So until we can respect the right to life for all living beings whatever "lives matter" campaign we are promoting will be incomplete and imperfect with no real lasting benefit for the world society. Instead we should be promoting the Krishna consciousness movement because wherever there is Krishna consciousness all lives are given respect even the insignificant insects.

Question: What is My Relationship with Krishna?
Which bhava should I have for Lord Krishna (as a servant, as a lover, etc)? Could you help me I am really confused!Shree Keshava
Answer: You Are Krishna's Eternal Servant
Dear Shree Keshava,Please accept my blessings.
You are the eternal servant of Krishna. Only after you are perfect in service to Him will you realize your bhava, your intimate personal loving relationship with Lord Sri Krishna, the source of all existence, as a cowherd girl, a cowherd boy, a cow, a calf, a peacock, or whatever. If you try to bypass being the Lord’s totally sold out servant and jump prematurely to your bhava, you will not be successful. You will remain in material existence. To guide you how to attain your bhava Krishna orders you to become a disciple of the bona fide spiritual master. So this is your first step. By fully surrendering to the bona fide spiritual master you will become perfect in your surrender to Krishna. It is only after doing this that your bhava, your eternal intimate relationship with the Lord, will be revealed to you.
