Possible or Impossible: Become Guru and Deliver the World

Possible or Impossible: Become Guru and Deliver the World

Srila Prabhupada gave us the order, "Become perfect in the understanding of this science and become guru and deliver the whole world." We may hesitate to try to carry out this order thinking, "How can we even try to accomplish such an impossible task?"

In the world of animal hunting being successful in killing a rhinoceros is considered to be practically an impossible task. In this connection Srila Prabhupada has given us a very illustrative simile as follows:

"We should always be enthusiastic to try for shooting the rhinoceros. That way, if we fail, everybody will say 'Never mind, nobody can shoot a rhinoceros anyway.', and if we succeed, then everyone will say, 'Just see, what a wonderful thing they have done.'."

So this mood let us sincerely endeavor at every moment to shoot for the rhinoceros of becoming perfect in Krishna consciousness and delivering the whole world. Even if we fail in this attempt, Lord Krishna will bless us for our sincere attempt and bring us back to His eternal abode. And if we are successful, it will be the most wondrous transformation of the human society in world history.

So let's keep always shooting for rhino!!!

Question: Eating Fish?

Does eating fish hamper the path of enlightenment?

Answer: You Become a Fish

If you eat fish, you will not achieve spiritual perfection. In your next lifetime you will become a fish. If you ate 100 fish in this lifetime, you will take birth as a fish 100 times. Those who are serious about spiritual enlightenment do not eat meat, fish, or eggs. And they offer all of their food to God before eating. In this way their food becomes sacred. Such eating of spiritual food along with the regular chanting of the holy names of God is the pathway to spiritual perfection. For more information check out my free e-course: : www.JoinCourse.com
