Lust is the All-Devouring Sinful Enemy of this World
The most dangerous obstacle on the path of spiritual awakening is lust. When one becomes overwhelmed by lust he completely destroys his Krishna consciousness. In this connection Lord Sri Krishna stringently warns us in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 3, Text 37 as follows:

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
kāma eṣa krodha eṣa
rajo-guṇa-samudbhavaḥ
mahāśano mahā-pāpmā
viddhy enam iha vairiṇam

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: It is lust only, Arjuna, which is born of contact with the material mode of passion and later transformed into wrath, and which is the all-devouring sinful enemy of this world."

How the neophyte devotee deals with lust will either make him or break him. If he conquers lust, he easily can awaken pure love of God within his heart. And if remains a slave of lust, he will remain entangled in the cycle of birth and death.

So, my dear readers, kindly do the needful to save yourselves from the vicious cycle of birth, death, old age, and disease right now by kicking lust out of your hearts.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
