Combining Hydrogen and Oxygen to Make Water

Dear reader, just as one may theoretically accept by hearing from authorities that two parts of hydrogen combined with one part of oxygen make water and then substantiate or prove this theory by combining them in the laboratory and producing water, in a similar way one can substantiate or prove the theory that the living entity is the eternal servant of Krishna. How is this done? By theoretically accepting that you are His eternal servant and by then fully engaging yourself practically in His service to test the theory, you will awaken, just like the water manifested in the laboratory test tube, to the full realization that you are His eternal servant. In fact, you will even remember, in due course of time, how you were engaged in serving Him in the spiritual world before you fell into this dark material existence.

I just finished reading this book, "Divine Intoxication--The Life of Srila Akincana Krishna Das Babaji." His svarupa (his eternal relationship with Krishna in the spiritual world) was revealed to him. So is that the success of chanting?

How in our practices we will know our svarupa? Or is it that we simply have to follow the path of Krishna consciousness and everything will be revealed by mercy of Krishna.

Srila Prabhupada has very nicely answered your question in a letter he wrote on 21 March 1967 in San Francisco to his disciple Satsvarupa Das:

"Regarding your question about the inhabitants of Vrajabhumi or Vrindaban it is to be understood that Vrindaban is the original abode of Lord Krishna as He is the original Personality of Godhead. In that transcendental plane He has His transcendental associates in different exchange of humor. For ourselves when we are in perfect stage of devotional service, we can know our eternal relation with Krishna and as such one of the associates of Lord Krishna becomes our ideal leader. This acceptance of leadership by one of the eternal associates of the Lord is not artificial. Do not therefore try it at present it will be automatically revealed to you in proper time."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
