Unlimited Bliss Beyond All Misery

We have been wandering throughout all of material existence for countless millions and billions of lifetimes taking one form after another within the 8,400,000 species of life. But in each and every lifetime we have not been satisfied or truly gratified because we have not understood what is the real principle of enjoyment. The titillation of our material senses has never satisfied us because we are not these bodies. Foolishly serving our material senses we have been unsuccessfully trying to enjoy since time immemorial. But now if we fortunate enough to be enlightened by a bonafide spiritual master by the simple act of giving our love to Krishna we can experience unlimited bliss at every minute.

Question: Why Can't We Surrender Immediately?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, what can I do at every moment, what should be my mood every moment- whether I am walking on the road, I am doing my job, doing service or anything - that will be very, very pleasing to Your Divine Grace?

It is so nice thing to fully surrender but something is wrong with me. I remember Khatvanga Maharaja, how he surrendered immediately. Was he already a pure devotee? Why can't we surrender immediately?

Answer: We Can

If you will simply always remember Krishna in all times, places, and circumstances, you are already a fully surrendered pure devotee. In this way you should never leave any gaps for maya in your consciousness. Now you are often forgetting Krishna. This is the difficulty. But if you will sincerely strive to always remember Krishna, gradually you will master the art and pure love of Krishna will become fully manifested within your heart.

Khatvanga Maharaja become a pure devotee as soon as he got notice of his imminent death. But since death can come to us at any moment, even we least expect it, to be safe we should become fully surrendered, pure devotees right now.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
