Returning to the USA

Today, 6 November, we are returning to the USA via two flights: Mumbai to London and London to Austin. After spending a wondrous seven weeks in the holy land of India it is amazing how it seems as if we have always lived here, that we never lived anywhere else. This reminds us how in a higher sense, we have always been devotees of Krishna. We have never been anything else. Only for a limited amount of time we were dreaming that we were something else. So now is time for us to fully be who we actually are, the devotees of Krishna, and stop trying to be what we are not, citizens of this nasty material world.

Whatever problems we have in this material world are the special blessings of Lord Sri Krishna to help us remember that this nasty place is not our actual home. However, Lord Sri Krishna will mercifully reduce your difficulties here if you will fully dedicate yourself to Him. So my best advice to you is that you should fully dedicate your life to Lord Sri Krishna under the direction of the bona fide spiritual master. In this way you will experience unlimited happiness within your heart even in this nasty material world where there is danger at every step.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
