The Greatest of Heroes

There is no greater hero than Krishna's devotee, because the devotee has no other business in this world except to save everyone from their illusion and suffering. By fully embracing the Lord's world deliverance mission as his very life and soul the devotee is sometimes put into great danger and difficulty. But he takes this as the greatest blessing to help him increase his feelings of dependence upon the Lord. The notable example of this is Jesus Christ, who was crucified because he was preaching the message of God. But in spite of the danger the devotee does not hesitate to push forward boldly in executing the Lord's world deliverance mission. Therefore there is no one more dear to the Lord than he, nor will there ever be anyone more dear.

Question: Order of Listing Four Fold Miseries

Dear Gurudeva,
All Glories to Guru and Gauranga
All Glories to Srila Prabhupada

In a recent Thought for the Day you have written:

"manifested in the form of birth, death, old age, and disease."

But I feel the following order sounds better, please correct me:

"manifested in the form of birth, old age, disease and ultimately death."

Answer: I Prefer Prabhupada's Way

My spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, one of the greatest, most empowered acharyas or spiritual masters in the history of the universe lists the four material miseries in this order over 100 times in his writings: “birth, death, old age, and disease." There is no harm if you prefer to list them in a different order. But as a disciple of my spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, I prefer to list them in the same order that he does because this reminds me of him, my savior.
