Radhastami--the Appearance Day of Srimati Radharani

On today, Monday 21 September, here in Bulgaria we are blessed with the most auspicious holy day, the appearance day of Srimati Radharani. Radharani is famous for being more merciful than even Krishna Himself. If someone approaches Radharani and begs for her mercy to become accepted by Krishna, she will tell her beloved Krishna to take notice of this devotee who is a better devotee than her. When Krishna gets this recommendation from Radharani that here is a devotee who is better than Radharani, He immediately takes note and bestows His causeless mercy upon this devotee who is recognized by His beloved Srimati Radharani.

So if you want Krishna's mercy, first beg for Radharani's mercy. That is why in the Hare Krishna mahamantra we first chant "Hare," which addresses Radharani, before we call out to Krishna.

Answer: Krishna's Peace Formula Will Save the World

Here was our reply:

It is not that my singing will bring world peace. I am singing the peace formula that Krishna is singing in the Bhagavad-gita, Chapter Five, Text 29. Krishna's singing is potent for bringing peace to the whole world because He is Jagannatha, the Lord of the entire universe. If Krishna's formula is accepted and implemented by the world's leaders, global peace and prosperity will be the immediate result. The difficulty is that they stubbornly refuse to heed Krishna's words.

By taking the materially strong technology of the spiritually weak West to broadcast the spiritually strong message of the materially weak East, we are following the logic of the lame man and blind man. On his own the blind man cannot accomplish anything; nor can the lame man accomplish anything either. But when the lame man with good vision sits on the shoulders of the blind man who has good legs, together they form a powerful team that can accomplish many things. So in this video I am making a humble attempt to combine the wisdom of the East with the technology of the West for the benefit of all living beings. I simply want to introduce Krishna's peace formula to the world's leaders. I pray that the day will come very soon when they will all hear and follow Krishna's teachings.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead.
