Curbing Down the Voracious Senses

Of all the senses the tongue is the most voracious and uncontrollable. Therefore anyone who can fully conquer his tongue by only taking Krishna prasadam and by only talking about Krishna becomes a goswami, a master of his senses. Such a person can bestow the highest benefit upon all living beings by giving them Krishna consciousness. If we are so fortunate to meet such a person, we should take full advantage of his association by carefully following his instructions and thus becoming solidly established in Krishna consciousness, the ultimate perfection of consciousness.

Answer: Prabhupada's Miracle

The miracle is that His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada accepted such an unqualified person as me as his disciple. If there is anything miraculous about anything I have done, it has only happened due to his mercy. So I cannot take any credit. He gets all the credit. If I can claim any credit at all, it is simply that I have faithfully followed his instructions for the last 44 years since I accepted him as my spiritual master.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
