In California there is severe drought and forest fires. In Utah there was a heavy flood that killed sixteen people. Why are such things going on? By God's arrangement there is sufficient facility to provide everyone nicely with their necessities of life. But due to an imbalance in nature there are so many difficulties. Why there is an imbalance in nature, nobody knows. Nowadays global warming is blamed as being the cause of imbalance. However, those who are enlightened with knowledge of the inner workings of the universe understand that this imbalance is actually being caused by the increase of Godlessness on this planet along with it accompanying sinfulness. Stated simply, it is karma. If you disobey the laws of God, nature will slap you in the face. And this is exactly what is now happening. So if we want to solve the problems of the world, it's time for us to hear and learn from those who are enlightened with transcendental knowledge, because it is only such visionaries who can teach us how to perfectly harmonize with God and nature. This and only this can actually solve the problems of the ever-increasingly devastated human society

Answer: This is Krishna's Special Mercy

Dark periods are a special blessing from Krishna. One simply has to learn the art of how to utilize them to their best advantage. When one has full faith in this principle, dark periods are the best opportunity for spiritual advancement. Because the great Vaishnavi, Queen Kuntidevi, knew this secret, she was praying that she could always be going through a dark period. As soon as one fully embraces this principle, they will always be in light. They will never be in darkness ever again, even though externally it may appear that they are going through a dark period.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
