The secret of success on the path of spiritual awakening is to serve the mission of your spiritual master, totally embracing it as your very life and soul. By fully absorbing your life and consciousness in this way assisting him in his world deliverance mission you will attract the unlimited mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and thus you will always live in a state of transcendental bliss regardless of success or failure, victory or defeat. So don't cheat yourself out of this unlimited nectar. Take shelter of the bona fide spiritual master by initiation and dedicate your life fully to assist him in his mercy mission for the deliverance of all the suffering souls in the universe.

Question: May We Visualize Krishna to Help Our Chanting?

May we visualize a picture of Krishna or Caitanya while doing japa instead of just repeating the mahamantra with closed eyes? Otherwise, we can loose concentration.

In a CD called "60 Years" someone said, "I cannot see Krishna," and a devotee answered, "You cannot see Krishna, but Krishna sees you".

Please can you answer me this delicate question?

Answer: Focus Attention Fully on Krishna's Sound Incarnation

If someone has come to be with you, there is no need to visualize them because they are right there with you. In a similar way, there is no need to visualize Krishna because when you chant His holy name He is already right there personally with you. In this age of Kali the most powerful presence of the Lord is His sound incarnation. Therefore the sound vibration of Krishna's name is much more powerful than any mental visualization that you can ponder. And consequently, you should focus all of your mental energy on Krishna's sound incarnation instead being diverted by any idea of a mental visualization.

When you become a completely pure devotee of Krishna, He will personally reveal Himself to you, face to face, eye to eye. You will not only see Krishna once. You will constantly see Him in an unending eternal festival of super sweet loving reciprocation. So now focus on chanting the Hare Krishna steadily each day under the loving guidance of the spiritual master. Keep yourself free from illicit sex, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling and that day will come to you when you will behold Krishna in all of His dazzling splendor and all of your desires will be fulfilled.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
