Persevere Through All Difficulties

Life in this material world is difficult for everyone. Neophyte devotees also sometimes have difficulties as they struggle to fix their minds in Krishna consciousness and become free from all material attachments. The secret of guaranteed success on the path of bhakti or Krishna consciousness is to always persevere in one's practice no matter what may happen. If the neophyte can maintain stick-to-itiveness in his practice in spite of all obstacles, his attaining the supreme perfection of pure love of God in due course of time is assured.

Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
After going Back to Godhead does the soul return back to material world? I have heard and read that we were part of Krishna's paraphernalia in the topmost abode Sri Goloka dhama and that due to our mistaken desire to enjoy separately from Krishna we have fallen down in material world. So the process of going back to Godhead is once, or is it repeated?

Answer: "Once Burned, I Learned."

The goods news is that the living entities who fall down into material existence and return back to Godhead have learned their lesson well. They will not repeat the mistake of being envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Of course, since they have free will, if they wanted to try to enjoy separately from the Lord again, they could fall down again. But, "Once burned, I learned." They will not be so stupid to again declare so-called independence from Lord Sri Krishna.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
