Prioritize Krishna and Your Life Will Be Sublime

If you will make pleasing Krishna the number one priority in your life, your life will become unlimitedly joyful, sublime, fulfilling, and satisfying. Actually there is no question of making Krishna the number one priority because He already is the number one priority. It is simply a matter of waking up, realizing the fact, and doing the needful. Just as a fish must remain the water in order to survive, the living entity, being part and parcel of Krishna, must always remain in Krishna consciousness in order to survive and thrive. If he does not do so, he is committing suicide.

Question: Can I Join ISKCON If I'm Not Hindu?

I find your teachings so interesting that I want to fully follow them. But the problem is that I am not a Hindu. Is it possible to join ISKCON even if I am not a Hindu?

Answer: ISKCON is Universal. It's For Everyone.

There's no problem with you joining our movement. All the original members of ISKCON were from Jewish and Christian homes. It's only later on after many years that Hindus started to join. In the early days of ISKCON our Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada stated:

"All my students are Americans, and they have come from either Christian or Jewish families. None of them have come from Hindu families. So the process I have given them -- the process of chanting the Hare Krishna mantra -- is universal. It is not Hindu or Indian."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
