Bhakti Tidal Wave Will Soon Inundate the World

The sastras or scriptures tell us of a time in the future when the entire world will be Krishna conscious. This prediction is not for some date way way off in the future such as 427,000 years from now when the Satya yuga begins. Although the Satya Yuga will certainly be a Garden-of-Eden type age when everyone will be saintly, we do not have to wait that long to get relief from all of this global distress. The sastric prediction I am referring to is that even now during the grossly materialistic age of Kali there will a wonderful global resurgence of pure spirituality. This profound spiritual renaissance began 500 years with the advent of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and will continue expanding and expanding undauntedly until the entire globe is 100% united being fully immersed in pure love of God. This global spiritual rebirth will last for 10,000 years, of which 500 have already passed. At the present this renaissance is still in a seed like state in the form of the Krishna consciousness movement. This seed has been firmly planted by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta swami Prabhupada. It will continue growing and growing until that glorious day when the entire world will be fully absorbed in glorifying the unlimited qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. The way that you can help bring this age to the world is to fully dedicate yourself to awakening your own Krishna consciousness under the guidance of the bona fide spiritual master and encouraging everybody else that you meet to do the same. In this way a tidal wave of pure bhakti will very soon inundate the entire world.

Question: How Time Cannot Exist in the Spiritual World?

Hare Krishna!

Dandavat Pranam,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

You have mentioned the following:

In this connection the great Vaisnava acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada explains as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, 2nd Canto, Chapter 9, Text 11 as follows:

"In the material world everything is created, and everything is annihilated, and the duration of life between the creation and annihilation is temporary. In the transcendental realm there is no creation and no destruction, and thus the duration of life is eternal unlimitedly. In other words, everything in the transcendental world is everlasting, full of knowledge and bliss without deterioration. Since there is no deterioration, there is no past, present and future in the estimation of time. It is clearly stated in this verse that the influence of time is conspicuous by its absence."

I have no doubt about Srila Prabhupada and your writings, just a doubt erupted that the individual souls have fallen from the spiritual world to the material world, Prabhu, is that not a deterioration from the original position?

So can we not say that our past was in spiritual realm, present in the material world, and in future we will reach spiritual sky? So somewhere doesn't the time factor manifest in the spiritual world also?

Hope I am not sounding offending by this question. Thanks a ton for your entire work and being with us always!!!

Hare Krishna!

Answer: There We Celebrate the Eternal Now

Thank you very much for your very moving expression of appreciation of my humble attempt to push forward the mission of Srila Prabhupada all over the world. Whatever success I have had is simply by his grace because personally I consider myself to be nothing more than a fool number one.

In answer in to your questions, please allow me to explain:

The souls who fall from the spiritual world are not deteriorated in any way. Their original pure identity is still intact. It is something like a foolish child who runs away from home. His home and his personal room are still there waiting for him to return with no deterioration. He has not lost his identity as the darling son of his parents. Simply for some time he foolishly neglects it until he realizes what a fool he was to leave his happy home and then he returns home. That's all. Is this clear?

When we return to the spiritual world we will realize that we are always here. It's just that we were foolishly dreaming that we were somewhere else. Therefore in the spiritual world we become completely transcendental to past, present, and future celebrating the eternal now. In other words, time is dream consciousness, and timelessness is awake consciousness. Just like when you are watching a video you are transcendental to the beginning, middle, and end of the video. You can fast forward to the end and watch it first. Then you can rewind to the beginning and watch that next. In the same way the inhabitants of the spiritual world can play with time if they so desire, but they are not under its influence.
