It's Time to Take Over the World for Krishna

The current world leaders are completely incompetent to bring peace and happiness to this planet because they are personally bereft of their own peace and happiness due to their mistaken identification of the self with the body. Therefore for the sake of the suffering human population it's time now for the self-realized persons, those who are actually Krishna conscious, to step forward and become the leaders of this planet within every sphere of society: political, economic, educational, cultural, etc. Unless the Krishna conscious men take the leadership on this planet it is not possible for the human society to be happy. A society bereft of Krishna conscious leadership is like a decapitated body, a body with its head cut off. There is a burning need now for the modern day decapitated society to get its head back, the head it once had during the Vedic age when spiritually enlightened men were the leaders of the world society. This will solve all the problems of the world and bring everyone to the stage of perfect happiness.

Many times we realize so many things: that this world is temporary, full of dangers, sense gratification is dangerous and miserable, etc. Why these realizations do not stay permanently in our hearts? I know that maya or illusion overtakes us. But how to keep these realizations fixed firmly in our hearts for eternity so that we never get illusioned again?

Answer: Plug All of Your Consciousness Gaps

The consciousness of a neophyte devotee is like a leaky roof on a rainy day. To keep your realizations always solidly fixed within your heart you need to patch up all the holes in the roof of consciousness by increasing the quality and quantity of your chanting, hearing, remembering, praying, and serving until all the gaps are closed. Then you will be solidly, undeviatingly situated on the transcendental liberated platform for all of eternity.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
