If You're Not Busy Being Born, You're Busy Dying

This human form of life is especially meant for spiritual awakening. In human life you are meant to re-establish your lost loving relationship with Krishna or God. If you don't do this, you will be forced by the material modes of nature to pursue the hellish pathway of material sense gratification, which will drag you down into the animal kingdom in your next birth. In other words, if you do not busy yourself with being born spiritually, you are killing yourself. And there is not much more to be said in this connection.

I have a some questions regarding the spiritual world:

What is Krishna like in the spiritual world? Is He like a young cowherd boy, or is He like an adult who is a king or something else?

Also, in the spiritual world, what kinds of activities do you get to do along with Krishna? Is it like playing outdoor games along with Krishna like He did when He was a young cowherd boy when He appeared about 5000 years ago? Or is it something else?

Answer: Eternal Youthful Pastimes

In Goloka Vrindavan Lord Sri Krishna is eternally manifests Himself as a young cowherd boy. The devotees there are also eternal youths who blissfully participate with Him perpetually in His sublime youthful pastimes.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
