Will You Vanish In Oblivion?

Where are the great heroes whose glories we sing
Reformers, politicians, scientists and grand kings?
We're awed by celebrities who sport mega fame
Stars of music, athletics, and cinematic acclaim.

But where have they gone now?
Of a trace there is none.
We cannot find them
For they're vanished in oblivion.

We worship these heroes as our life's model
Repeating their words as if they were gospel.
But here's a fact that we just do not see:
They get old and die just like you and me.

So where have they gone now?
Of a trace we find none.
We cannot find them
For they're vanished in oblivion.

Destiny spins out everyone's karma.
Making you dance in the puppeteer's drama.
Sometimes you're famous, sometimes you're unknown
From the pious or sinful karma you've sown.

So hanker not for karma's rigged game.
Make personalistic nirvana your exclusivistic aim.
Reunite with that luminary of unlimited fame.
Shun atheistic madness or go wildly insane.

So where will you go now?
Send your love to that Supreme One
And return to His wondrous abode
Instead of vanishing in oblivion.

Question: How is Krishna the God of Love?

Lord Sri Krishna is called the god of love. Please explain how He is the god of love.

Answer: He is the Origin of Pure Selfless Giving

Krishna is naturally the god of love because love itself exists only because of His unlimited all munificent kindness. What in this material world we call love is nothing but lust masquerading as love. Krishna's love is not at all like that lust of this world. His love is pure and selfless giving free from even the most infinitesimal tinge of the polluted tendency for material sense gratification.
