The current slate of world leaders cannot help but be cheaters because they do not know that the goal of the human form of life is to qualify oneself for going back to home, back to Godhead. The Srimad Bhagavatam states that all leaders on any level of responsibility must be able deliver their dependents from the cycle of birth and death. Due to their gross misguidance the entire human population is in a suffering condition and will be in even a worse position after leaving their present bodies and finding themselves in the animal kingdom. If we are to have a bright future for the human race, the only hope is that from now on we should only have leaders who are conversant with and who strictly personally follow the Vedic wisdom.

What is the difference between Srimati Radharani (Krishna's eternal consort in Goloka Vrindavan) and Srimati Rukmini (His principal queen in Dvaraka)? Both are eternal associates of Lord Krishna. So how should we understand the position of both of them?

Answer: Radharani Expands Herself as Rukmini

Srimati Radharani is the original goddess of fortune and Rukmini is Her expansion. Radharani is the principal head of all goddesses of fortune, the pleasure counterpart of the Lord and is thus non different from Krishna. Rukmini is a sakti-tattva form of Srimati Radharani, who expands Herself by Her internal potency into multiforms of the goddess of fortune.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
