Love is Contagious--Let's Start a Global Epidemic

The planet earth is currently devastated by selfishness and greed. The result is that everyone is miserable. Because everyone is self-centered there are constant conflicts and clashes going on all over the world. So instead of being selfish. Do something revolutionary for your own benefit and the benefit of all living beings everywhere. Be proactively loving, friendly, and kind to everyone you meet. If you are kind to someone, they will inspired to be kind to someone else, who will then become inspired to be kind to someone else, etc. In this way the entire human society will gradually be elevated to a loving, happy place. As you practice kindness, don't forget your four-legged friends, and your winged and finned friends. Be kind to them by not eating them. And most importantly of all, don't forget to reciprocate with the loving kindness of that Supreme Person who is the source of love and indeed the very source our existence and who is flooding us with unlimited love at every minute. That Supreme Person is known by hundreds and millions of different names. If there is one name that best describes Him in all His unlimited pastimes, qualities, relationships and attributes, that name is Krishna, which literally means the all-attractive one, because Krishna attracts everyone. When you give your love to Krishna, who is the root of everything, your love automatically goes to everyone, just as when you water the root of a tree all of its leaves and branches are nourished.

How do we understand that Jesus is not a bogus guru? Does the Vedic sastra support his teachings?

Answer: Because He Convinces People to Love God

Our spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada, has informed us that Jesus Christ is a bona spiritual master. This is all the evidence we need. In an interview with the London Times Srila Prabhupada explains how it is that we accept Jesus Christ as a bona fide spiritual master:

"Christian, Muhammadan, Hindu -- it doesn't matter. If he is simply speaking on behalf of God, he is a guru. Lord Jesus Christ, for instance. He canvassed people, saying, 'Just try to love God.' Anyone -- it doesn't matter who -- be he Hindu, Muslim, or Christian, is a guru if he convinces people to love God. That is the test."

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
