Conflict Resolution

This material world is tumultuous because in our interpersonal relationships we experience so many conlicts. This happens because we all position ourselves as the center of the universe. If think that I am the center and you think that you are the center, conflicts are inevitable. So how to resolve this? The only solution is to always put Krishna in the center. In other words, all of our thoughts, words, and deeds should be pleasing to Krishna in accordance with the teachings of the spiritual master, the scriptures, and the saintly teachers. This means that we have to be very introspective to see that we are always putting Krishna in the center, instead of ourselves. This will transform our planet from hell into heaven.

Question: How to Focus on Devotion When I Lose My Job?

Hare Krishna Srila Gurudeva,
All glories to Srila Prabhupada,

I learned that I may lose my job in the coming month. How do I prepare myself so that this incident does not affect my devotion to Sri Krishna, and I could still constantly be devoted to Him without wanting any form of material gains such as job security?

S.P.

Answer: Keep Chanting and Transition to Your Next Job

A devotee always feels secure because he is completely confident that Krishna will protect him in all circumstances. If you lose your job, you should immediately begin another job without any gap. In order to do this you should have another job already lined up. Or if not, you still have another job awaiting you, to work very hard full time at finding a job until you get a job. In this way you should always be engaged in working to avoid debt so that you can peacefully worship the Lord without any distraction in order to qualify yourself for going back to home, back to Godhead.
