Salvation from Economic Collapse

At the present moment the United States of America is tottering on the edge of economic collapse. That nation which has long led the world in power and wealth is now experiencing great difficulty. America's leaders are not able to solve the crisis because they are too much caught up in fulfilling their own greedy desires. What they do not know is that Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune, always remains where Lord Narayana or Krishna is being purely worshipped and does not permanently remain where her Lord Narayana is not being purely worshipped. If the leaders of the USA want their country to remain strong and influential in the world, they must now engage themselves and their country in the service of Lord Narayana or Krishna. Then wealth, power, and influence will remain with their nation and never go away.

Question: How Krishna is Not a Hindu God?

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I have seen in India and noticed that people think that Krishna is a Hindu god. But Srila Prabhupada said that God is God just as gold is gold, that one cannot say, "Hindu gold" or "Christian gold." How can we understand that Krishna is not a Hindu god?

Answer: He is Not Hindunatha. He is Jagannatha.

If Krishna was a Hindu god, He would be called Hindunatha (the lord of the Hindus), not Jagannatha (the lord of the universe), as He is properly designated. Krishna never states that He is simply the lord of the Hindus. He clearly states in the Bhagavad-gita that He is the Supreme Lord, the source of all material and spiritual worlds, that everything emanates from Him. Krishna's authoritative words should be sufficient to establish that He is the lord of all.

The readers of this course mostly already know that Krishna is the Supreme Lord. Our challenge is how to reach out to and convince those who have not understood the final conclusion of the Vedic wisdom as explained so clearly in the Bhagavad-gita that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. Who is this Krishna?

Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
