Mandate: Become Guru and Deliver the World
19 April 2025
I have been mandated by my spiritual master, my topmost authority His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, to become guru and deliver the world. So there is no question of not doing this. It must be done. I know that on my own that this is completely impossible. But I also know that by full submission to Srila Prabhupada and through him to Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the most merciful incarnation of the Supreme Personality Lord Sri Krishna, that even that which is totally impossible becomes possible by the grace of Lord Caitanya's supreme mystic potency. Thus, the whole world can in fact be delivered. Therefore, I must unflinchingly dedicate my every thought, word, and deed in all times, places, and circumstances to this supreme goal, taking this order as my very life and soul.

Take the Order of Your Spiritual Master as Your Very Life and Soul
Dandavat pranam Guru Maharaj,
Hare Krishna!
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful response. I am deeply grateful for your guidance. I will certainly follow the practices of chanting at least 16 rounds of japa mala daily and avoid the activities that are detrimental to spiritual growth, as you have advised.
I understand that specific guidance comes through inquiry, and I will continue to ask questions to learn more. I will do my best to inquire submissively, as per the teachings of Bhagavad-gita.
Guru Maharaj, if I may inquire, if you conduct any live lectures or kirtans, would it be possible for you to add me to any group where I can participate and benefit from them?
Additionally, Guru Mahara, when I try to do bhakti and follow the practices, I sometimes feel a sense of loneliness. It feels difficult at times to stay focused and positive on this journey, and I am unsure how to overcome these feelings. I would be grateful for any guidance or suggestions you may have on this.
Thank you once again for your blessings. I pray for your continued guidance and support on this spiritual journey.
I hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits.

Loneliness means that you are forgetting that Krishna, the spiritual master, and all the great Vaisnava acharyas are fully present with you when you engage in devotional
service.
I hope this meets you in the best of health
and in a cheerful mood.

My Spiritual Journey in a Nutshell
As an American youth I was taught to believe in the. "American dream": Study hard, get a good education and a good job to get a good wife some good kids in a good house to enjoy a good life. But when I got to college I realized that this was not enough. I wanted to know what is the meaning of life, but no one could tell me. So I took to the path of self-realization and was blessed in 1968 with the Hare Krishna mantra and the worship of Radha and Krishna. (I did not know about ISKCON.) This inspired me to drop out of college and renounce the world to become a holy beggar in India. But on the way to India I realized that to renounce everything I had to ultimately renounce renunciation itself and accept something transcendental Thus I embraced the mission of delivering the world from chaos. For this purpose I adopted the life a singer/songwriter who in 1969 became recognized and very much appreciated. In 1971, seeking spiritual perfection, I followed the example of Lord Jesus Christ and prayed to God how I could become His perfect servant. Then God revealed to me path of pure Krishna bhakti as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. On the most auspicious day of 12 August 1971 he accepted me as his disciple. Now on his order and under his most expert guidance I have fully devoted my life for awakening pure love of God within my heart and for making the entire world Krishna conscious. To read about my journey in detail get my memoir:
