I am very pleased by this following preaching report from my disciple, Hare Krishna Das:

Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances!
All glories to Srila Gurudev and Srimati Gurumataji!
All glories to Srila Prabhupada !

During Your Grace’s and Srimati Gurumataji’s visit to Thiruvananthapuram, I took leave from my hospital duties. After Your Grace departed for Mumbai, I extended my leave for an additional week. This gave me the opportunity to engage in book distribution each day. My friend, His Grace Giriraj Das Brahmachari, inspired our efforts. We visited the District Court in Thiruvananthapuram and successfully distributed 60 large books (either the Bhagavad Gita As It Is or Krishna books) over the course of four days. We have noticed that people are much more receptive than in previous years. I believe this change is due to the sincere preaching of pure devotees around the world, the current favorable environment in India that embraces its cultural roots, and the well-organized Kumbh Mela. These factors have positively impacted the hearts of many individuals. Thank you very much, Srila Gurudev and Srimati Gurumataji, for your causeless mercy upon us and for blessing us with enlightenment, spiritual vigor, and enthusiasm. I am attaching a few pictures of the book distribution along with this email.

Please accept my blessings.

We should not understand things based on our opinion. We have to take our understanding from the authoritative scriptures. It is stated in the Padma Purana that when Shiva was asked by. Parvati who is the Supreme he replied: ārādhanānāṁ sarveṣāṁ viṣṇor ārādhanaṁ param. "My dear Pārvatī, of all kinds of worship, worship of Lord Viṣṇu is the best." Lord Vishnu is Krishna Himself when He displays His pastime of manifesting four arms. So according to the authority of Lord Shiva and the Padma Purana Lord Sri Krishna is the Supreme.

My Spiritual Journey in a Nutshell

As an American youth I was taught to believe in the. "American dream": Study hard, get a good education and a good job to get a good wife some good kids in a good house to enjoy a good life. But when I got to college I realized that this was not enough. I wanted to know what is the meaning of life, but no one could tell me. So I took to the path of self-realization and was blessed in 1968 with the Hare Krishna mantra and the worship of Radha and Krishna. (I did not know about ISKCON.) This inspired me to drop out of college and renounce the world to become a holy beggar in India. But on the way to India I realized that to renounce everything I had to ultimately renounce renunciation itself and accept something transcendental Thus I embraced the mission of delivering the world from chaos. For this purpose I adopted the life a singer/songwriter who in 1969 became recognized and very much appreciated. In 1971, seeking spiritual perfection, I followed the example of Lord Jesus Christ and prayed to God how I could become His perfect servant. Then God revealed to me path of pure Krishna bhakti as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. On the most auspicious day of 12 August 1971 he accepted me as his disciple. Now on his order and under his most expert guidance I have fully devoted my life for awakening pure love of God within my heart and for making the entire world Krishna conscious.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
