I Truly Care About You. AI Does Not.

The company that handle the technical aspect of the daily broadcast of "Thought for the Day" has encouraged me to use artificial intelligence (AI) to write my daily broadcasts. There is even facility now via AI to write an entire book in a matter of minutes. AI is being used by dictators to monitor all of the citizens in his country to make sure that all dissenters can immediately be arrested in put in prison. This AI is another symptom of a world that is becoming increasingly impersonal. How people can be so stupid to think that this will improve their lives? Real intelligence, compassionate intelligence is the foundation of all existence. It is found there in Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Those who get their intelligence by hearing from Krishna and His bona fide representatives get real intelligence. Those who wander whimsically in the realm of material existence are always misguided by the artificial intelligence of the material energy.

My Spiritual Journey in a Nutshell

As an American youth I was taught to believe in the. "American dream": Study hard, get a good education and a good job to get a good wife some good kids in a good house to enjoy a good life. But when I got to college I realized that this was not enough. I wanted to know what is the meaning of life, but no one could tell me. So I took to the path of self-realization and was blessed in 1968 with the Hare Krishna mantra and the worship of Radha and Krishna. (I did not know about ISKCON.) This inspired me to drop out of college and renounce the world to become a holy beggar in India. But on the way to India I realized that to renounce everything I had to ultimately renounce renunciation itself and accept something transcendental Thus I embraced the mission of delivering the world from chaos. For this purpose I adopted the life a singer/songwriter who in 1969 became recognized and very much appreciated. In 1971, seeking spiritual perfection, I followed the example of Lord Jesus Christ and prayed to God how I could become His perfect servant. Then God revealed to me path of pure Krishna bhakti as taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. On the most auspicious day of 12 August 1971 he accepted me as his disciple. Now on his order and under his most expert guidance I have fully devoted my life for awakening pure love of God within my heart and for making the entire world Krishna conscious.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
