How to Taste the Higher, Ultimate Taste

The technique for tasting pure, unadulterated happiness at every minute is to purely chant the holy names of God. In this regard Lord Caitanya has instructed as follows:

tṛṇād api sunīcena
taror api sahiṣṇunā
amāninā mānadena
kīrtanīyaḥ sadā hariḥ

"One can chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking himself lower than the straw in the street. One should be more tolerant than the tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and ready to offer all respects to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly." (Śikṣāṣṭaka 3)

If we take this chanting process seriously, our lives will be unlimitedly sublime! So let's do that. Do you agree?

Question: Is the Spiritual World a Fantasy?

Dear beloved Sankarshan Das,

I went to bed very distressed last night about my worldly destiny and what to do in this world. I started to chant the holy name and suddenly it was like I had a brief glimpse into an opulent world full of light and happiness, where no one can feel alone because Krishna is there, and the whole world is not separated from him. Is this what the mantra does? I want that world. Is this just a fantasy?

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
