They take their real career to be preaching Krishna consciousness for the deliverance of the fallen souls of this material world back to home, back to Godhead.

I am curious to know. How can we shift from living for our own pleasure to living for Lord Krishna's pleasure?

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It's a matter of proper understanding. Just as the hand cannot get nourishment from the food by squeezing it between its fingers and can only get nourishment by giving the food to the belly through the mouth, in a similar way we can never be happy simply by try to serve ourselves but will become unlimitedly happy when we give our loving service to Krishna, the original source of all existence. In other words, we cannot enjoy separately. We can only enjoy when we have a loving-serving relationship with Lord Sri Krishna, the source of all existence.

In short, since we are part and parcel of Lord Sri Krishna, we can only get genuine pleasure when we please Him. Any other type of pleasure is only illusory at best.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
