Krishna Can Make the Impossible Possible
My spiritual master Srila Prabhupada has given me and his other disciples this order on 17 December 1973 in Los Angeles:
"..become perfect in the understanding of this science and become guru and deliver the whole world."
Because he gave this instructions to his many disciples does this mean that it is not my responsibility? Srila Prabhupada's spiritual master told many of his disciples to spread the teachings of Krishna consciousness to the Western world. But only one of them, our Srila Prabhupada, took it very seriously.
Therefore I take very seriously this order I have received from Srila Prabhupada to deliver the world. Of course, by any calculation it seems to be totally impossible that the world can be delivered from chaos and made Krishna conscious. But yet this is the order I have received from Srila Prabhupada, to deliver the world.
What is the hope for successfully carrying out this order given to me by my spiritual master. One point is explained by Srila Prabhupada in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, First Canto, Chapter 11, Text 27 as follows:
"The Lord is all-powerful, and in His presence anything impossible can be made possible by His inconceivable energy."
In this regard, Srila Prabhupada told us, "Impossible is word in fool's dictionary." And also he explains as follows in his purport to Srimad Bhagavatam, Second Canto, Chapter 8, Text 5:
"It is said that a single pure devotee of the Lord can deliver all the fallen souls of the world. Thus one who is actually in the confidence of a pure devotee like Narada or Sukadeva Gosvami and thus is empowered by one's spiritual master, as Narada was by Brahmaji, can not only deliver himself from the clutches of maya, or illusion, but can deliver the whole world by his pure and empowered devotional strength."
So I've got my marching orders: Become a pure devotee and deliver the world.
