Initiation Ceremony in Miami, USA--21 March 2021
On 21 March 2021 I accepted Lizette Monty, a realtor and certified yoga instructor from Miami, Florida, as my duly initiated disciple. She is now known as Lilasmriti Devi Dasi. It is very encouraging for me when people from the USA take this process of Krishna consciousness very seriously and become disciples because Srila Prabhupada was especially eager to make the American people Krishna conscious. That's why he came to America in 1965 to begin this movement. Srila Prabhupada's eagerness to make America Krishna conscious is nicely expressed by him in a morning walk conversation on 11 December 1973 in Los Angeles.
Srila Prabhupada said, ""That is my ambition. I want to begin one revolution. Their godless civilization..., against godless civilization. That is my ambition. The America will be the best person to be educated in this line and to lead, to become the leaders. They're already leader, but they must be real leader now, so that the whole world may be happy. That I can give direction. If the topmost American gentlemen come to me, I can give them direction how they can become the world leader. Actual leader. Actual leader, not bogus leader. Because God has favored them, so many things. And this movement has been started from America. I started this movement from New York. So it should be taken very seriously by the government."
Because the USA has a leading position in the global material society, the more we can make persons from the USA Krishna conscious it will have a powerful, uplifting impact on the entire global society. So I am very much hoping now that more and more American people will step forward to take this movement seriously just as Lilasmriti has done and become world leaders by their example and their words.

tato 'nartha-nivṛttiḥ syāt
tato niṣṭhā rucis tataḥ

sādhakānām ayaṁ premṇaḥ
prādurbhāve bhavet kramaḥ
"In the beginning one must have a preliminary desire for self-realization. This will bring one to the stage of trying to associate with persons who are spiritually elevated. In the next stage one becomes initiated by an elevated spiritual master, and under his instruction the neophyte devotee begins the process of devotional service. By execution of devotional service under the guidance of the spiritual master, one becomes free from all material attachment, attains steadiness in self-realization, and acquires a taste for hearing about the Absolute Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. This taste leads one further forward to attachment for Kṛṣṇa consciousness, which is matured in bhāva, or the preliminary stage of transcendental love of God. Real love for God is called prema, the highest perfectional stage of life."

The stages of self-realization are very authoritatively described by the great spiritual master Srila Rupa Goswami in his great realized literature entitled Bhakti-rasāmṛta-sindhu, “The Science of Devotional Service.”ādau śraddhā tataḥ sādhu-
