One Pure Devotee Can Make the Whole World Krishna Conscious
There is inconceivably amazing power in the pure chanting of the Hare Krishna mahamantra. In this connection Srila Prabhupada describes as follows in his purport to Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Adi Lila, Chapter 7, Text 83 as follows:
"A sincere student aurally receives the holy name from the spiritual master, and after being initiated he follows the regulative principles given by the spiritual master. When the holy name is properly served in this way, automatically the spiritual nature of the holy name spreads; in other words, the devotee becomes qualified in offenselessly chanting the holy name. When one is completely fit to chant the holy name in this way, he is eligible to make disciples all over the world, and he actually becomes jagad-guru. Then the entire world, under his influence, begins to chant the holy names of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra."
Therefore the sincere devotees of Krishna endeavor very seriously to chant their daily japa with complete purity so that the whole world can become awakened to Krishna consciousness as soon as possible. Thus they diligently try to avoid the ten offenses against the chanting of the holy names, which are listed as follows in Chapter 8 of The Nectar of Devotion:
The offenses against the chanting of the holy name are as follows:
(1) To blaspheme the devotees who have dedicated their lives for propagating the holy name of the Lord.
(2) To consider the names of demigods like Lord Śiva or Lord Brahmā to be equal to, or independent of, the name of Lord Viṣṇu. (Sometimes the atheistic class of men take it that any demigod is as good as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu. But one who is a devotee knows that no demigod, however great he may be, is independently as good as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore, if someone thinks that he can chant "Kālī, Kālī!" or "Durgā, Durgā!"and it is the same as Hare Kṛṣṇa, that is the greatest offense.)
(3) To disobey the orders of the spiritual master.
(4) To blaspheme the Vedic literature or literature in pursuance of the Vedic version.
(5) To consider the glories of chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa to be imagination.
(6) To give some interpretation on the holy name of the Lord.
(7) To commit sinful activities on the strength of the holy name of the Lord. (It should not be taken that because by chanting the holy name of the Lord one can be freed from all kinds of sinful reaction, one may continue to act sinfully and after that chant Hare Kṛṣṇa to neutralize his sins. Such a dangerous mentality is very offensive and should be avoided.)
(8) To consider the chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa one of the auspicious ritualistic activities offered in the Vedas as fruitive activities (karma-kāṇḍa).
(9) To instruct a faithless person about the glories of the holy name. (Anyone can take part in chanting the holy name of the Lord, but in the beginning one should not be instructed about the transcendental potency of the Lord. Those who are too sinful cannot appreciate the transcendental glories of the Lord, and therefore it is better not to instruct them in this matter.)
(10) To not have complete faith in the chanting of the holy names and to maintain material attachments, even after understanding so many instructions on this matter.
Every devotee who claims to be a Vaiṣṇava must guard against these offenses in order to quickly achieve the desired success.

Therefore, let us all endeavor seriously every day to chant our japa with complete purity.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada
Why Krishna consciousness is so difficult in my life? Others are in bliss. To me Krishna consciousness is pain.
Thank you very much.

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
When one is suffering from jaundice to him the taste of sugar candy is very bitter. But taking sugar candy is the cure for jaundice. Therefore on the advice of the physician he regularly takes sugar candy even though the
taste is so bitter that he feels like spitting it out. In this way he gradually becomes cured from jaundice and is able to enjoy the sweet taste of sugar candy.
You are tasting Krishna consciousness as bitter because you have not yet
(so to speak) ingested enough sugar candy. So go on taking the medicine
of chanting at least 16 rounds of Hare Krishna japa mala daily while simultaneously avoiding illicit sex life, meat eating, intoxication, and gambling. In this way in due course of time and sooner than you think you will be able to relish the sweet ever-increasing nectar of Krishna consciousness at every minute in all times, places, and circumstances.
I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.
