Getting Younger Every Day

One of the miseries of this material existence is old age. Nobody welcomes the deterioration of their body as old age plagues them with so many bodily difficulties, such as poor hearing, poor eyesight, difficulty in walking, difficulty in breathing, etc. But because the spirit-soul dwelling within the body is factually an eternal youth, the more we awaken our dormant Krishna consciousness, the more we feel young even though our bodies may be in their 80's or 90's. In other words, a devotee gets younger and younger every day.

Question: Who is There in Nothingness?

Sir,
When there are no thoughts, when there is only present, when we only look and think nothing not a single thought is there, who in the absence of thoughts is there? Who is the experiencer? In deep sleep who is there? On waking up again who says that there was nothingness in deep sleep?

Who is the observer? Who is there? Who sees coming and going of thought? Who holds the thought and performs action on it?

You are thinking "No thought." That is also a thought. The mind by nature is active. You cannot make it blank. But you can liberate yourself from all material thoughts by thinking about Krishna and especially by chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे ||
हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे||

Nothingness is a concept. So it is also something. It is not nothing.

You are the observer and the one who acts on your thoughts. You will only become liberated when you act on the liberated platform by following Lord Sri Krishna's instructions which He gives in the Bhagavad- gita.

Are you ready now to become a liberated person free from pangs of birth, death, old age, and disease? Or do you want to remain a slave of these four miseries birth after birth?
