Persons of Ideal Character Can Change the World
There are unlimited powerful enlightening lessons to be derived from the Bhagavad-gita. One of those lessons is to understand the great world transforming power of an acharya, a person who sets the perfect example of being totally surrendered to Krishna with his every thought, word, and deed in all times, places, and circumstances. In this regard Krishna states in Bhagavad-gita, Chapter 3, Text 21 as follows: yad yad ācarati śreṣṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate "Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues." So now it is up to each of us to become such persons of ideal character. The more that we do this, the we more can have a positive, uplifting impact on the global culture. Answers According to the Vedic Wisdom Question: Is the Individual Soul God?
