We Don't Know Who We Are

Do not cheat yourself for one minute longer by remaining in material consciousness. For you, the eternal, all-blissful, fully cognizant living being to identify yourself with that which is temporary, full of ignorance, and full of misery would indeed be the greatest tragedy. Unfortunately this is how we are all being trained from our very infancy by this modern-day so-called civilization. The reason I describe it as a so-called civilization is that despite all of our advancement in material technology when it comes to spiritual advancement we are still very much in the dark ages because we have no idea who we are. We are totally bereft of self knowledge. We foolishly misidentifying with our material bodies like a foolish driver of a car who thinks that he is his car. Thus it is no longer that everyone is so much lost and confused regarding their actual, factual identities.

Hare Krishna,
We need your support and help to expose the bogus Nityananda (who has amassed billions of dollars from donations), who claims to be a poornavatar of Kaliyuga (see image below). Let us know what you think. Even my friends got illusioned and donated all their money to him believing he is Krishna in his body. Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
