You will never die. That anyone dies because of coronavirus or from any other cause is simply a myth. The actual fact is that everyone lives forever. The only thing that dies is the body, which is just like a garment worn by the actual person who lives within the body. What we call death is simply a change of garments. It is the death of the garment not of the person. Anxiety about death comes when we misidentify ourselves with our body. Those who see things as they are know that they are not their bodies and thus they are fearless even in the face of so-called death. Such enlightened souls do everything they possibly can to educate the anxiety-ridden world population about the true deathless nature of every single living being.

Question: Is Career Important for Spiritual Growth?

I want to ask one question. Is career important to grow in spirituality? At times I feel like to do nothing. I know this is to be termed as my laziness.
But am confused because I have been hearing a lot. Some say that career is very important if you want to grow spiritually. Some say that it is not important at all, that it is just a waste of time and energy, that it increases my ego. Please guide me.

The real career of Krishna's devotee is to make the world Krishna conscious. He may accept some other so-called career for earning a livelihood. But that is not his real career. His real career is to make a spiritual revolution on this planet.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me.
