Turn On Your Soul (song lyrics)
Do you know who you really are?
Do you know where you’re coming from?
Do you know for sure where you’re goin’
Or what you will become?
Chorus:
You’re eternal, full of knowledge and bliss
So remember and celebrate this
You’re not of this world, dear friend
Better tune in and turn on your soul.
Do you know what happens when you die?
Do you know what’s beyond the sky?
Do you think that body is you?
It’s just something that you’re passing through.
Repeat Chorus
We’re told that everything happens by chance.
That the universe has no person in control.
But I see that every machine has got an operator.
So the universe also has one
This I know
Do you know who you really are?
Do you know where you’re coming from?
Do you know for sure where you’re goin’
Or what you will become?
Repeat Chorus
Your Divine Grace,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. I am hoping you can answer a question for me. Is Truth something that exists separately from the Lord, or is Truth the Lord Himself, and thus eternally self existing? Here I'm not speaking only of transcendental truths, but the truths of the material world- the laws of nature.
Your Servant,
Jack
My Dear Jack,
Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
The very first verse of the Srimad Bhagavatam begins like this:
"O my Lord, Sri Krishna, son of Vasudeva, O all-pervading Personality of Godhead, I offer my respectful obeisances unto You. I meditate upon Lord Sri Krishna because He is the Absolute Truth and the primeval cause of all causes of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the manifested universes."
In other words, the laws of material world are also a manifestation of the Absolute Truth, Lord Sri Krishna.
Do you know where you’re coming from?
Do you know for sure where you’re goin’
Or what you will become?
Chorus:
You’re eternal, full of knowledge and bliss
So remember and celebrate this
