Initiating Two Disciples in London

On 13 June 2019 during a brief stopover in London I initiated a husband and wife couple as my disciples at the London Heathrow airport. During my initiation lecture I quoted from a lecture given in Los Angeles on 5 January 1974 in which Srila Prabhupada wonderfully describes how one becomes deathless by taking initiation:

"...deathlessness begins from the day of initiation. Ādau gurvāśrayam. As soon as you take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master, your point of deathlessness begins immediately. Immediately. And if you continue the advice and instruction of the spiritual master, or the śāstra, then you become deathless. No more death."

So we advise everyone who would like to attain immortality that they should become initiated by the bona fide spiritual master and always faithfully follow his instructions.

The meaning of life is to be who really are, the eternal spiritual beings who live within the bodies, not the false bodily identity that the materialistic society forces upon us by propaganda that we are these bodies and when these bodies are finished everything is finished. The eternal spiritual being within is the servant of God and he relishes unlimited pleasure by always engaging himself in the service of God according to the instructions given by God.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
