Do Not Flush Your Future Down the Drain

To act whimsically in service to our minds and senses is suicidal. It guarantees our going down to the animal kingdom in our next births. Therefore the only intelligent and the indeed the only sane thing to do is to engage our senses in the service of the master of the senses, Hrishikesha (Krishna.). This is why it is stated as follows in the Nārada-pañcarātra:

sarvopādhi-vinirmuktaṁ
tat-paratvena nirmalam
hṛṣīkeṇa hṛṣīkeśa-
sevanaṁ bhaktir ucyate

“Bhakti, or devotional service, means engaging all our senses in the service of the Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the master of all the senses. When the spirit soul renders service unto the Supreme, there are two side effects. One is freed from all material designations, and one’s senses are purified simply by being employed in the service of the Lord."

So my dear readers, please do not flush your future down the train. Make your future glorious by engaging yourself fully in Krishna's service, thus guaranteeing that you will go back to home, back to Godhead upon leaving your present material body.

Comment: Jesus and Krishna Similarities

Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I recently came across a video where many biblical references came across as starkly similar to references to Vaikuntha, Vrindavana, Svarga and Maya. I'm sure you must be aware about most of this already, but it was interesting to observe many similarities in the Bible regarding the destination after this body, which has been misinterpreted typically by speculative Christian scholars.

Reply: Jesus is a Bonafide Vaisnava Acharya

My Dear Suresh,

Please accept my blessings.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It doesn't surprise me at all because Jesus Christ is bona fide Vaisnava Acharya. In fact it was the example of Lord Jesus Christ that inspired me to become a devotee of Krishna. Jesus Christ is our spiritual master. That is a fact. We follow him strictly but the so-called Christians do not. He taught us that we should not kill, but these rascal so-called Christians are meat eaters.

I hope this meets you in the best of health and in an ecstatic mood.

Your ever well-wisher,
Sankarshan Das Adhikari
