Question: I'm in Trouble. How to Connect with God?

Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.
Recently I went through a serious problems due to some conflict with my in-law relatives. After those conflicts there has been a legal agreement signed between myself and my in-laws that we both parties will never interact with each other from today onwards till lifelong, otherwise it would be a violation of law.

So my question is that since all of my worldly relations are almost over now, I want to connect with God and only His devotees. I need your support and guidance during this crucial phase of my life. Kindly guide me what to do. I would be highly thankful to you.

Why only when you are in difficulty you seek guidance? Your duty is to be under the guidance of the spiritual master in all times both of happiness and distress. If you had had this mood, you would have known how to deal nicely with your in-laws to avoid conflict. But because you only seek guidance when you are in distress this conflict has come. So this is really your fault.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
