From Krishna With Love

I hope you are enjoying the program called "Reality" brought to you with love by our sponsor, Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Because of His having the power the enjoy unlimitedly along with the power to do anything He wants Lord Sri Krishna is manifesting from Himself an unlimited number of living beings with each of whom He can enjoy a unique type of loving relationship. So this is why exist, to have our own completely unique personal loving relationship with God, not a carbon copy relationship, a totally unique loving relationship.

We exist simply for the purpose of having a loving relationship with Krishna. This is our natural position, just like a fish in the water. If the fish tries to enjoy on the land, he cannot do so because that is not his natural environment. Similarly, we cannot enjoy at all outside of a loving relationship with Krishna or God. The only enjoyment we can get in this way is illusory enjoyment, imagining that we are enjoying, which is nothing more than a useless piece of junk.

Question: ​​​​​​​How to Defeat "Truth is Relative"?​​​

I meet so many people that believe truth is relative and they hold strong to their convictions due to nonsense philosophers such as Nietzsche and post modernist ideology.

How can I convince these individuals that we must accept knowledge from higher authorities? Of course I ask this realizing that I must dive deeper into the Holy Name and become a better servant of those that love Krishna with all their heart, to become empowered to carry out Srila Prabhupada's mission.

Defeating them is a piece of cake. When they argue that there are no absolutes that truth is only relative, ask them if they are absolutely sure. If they say "yes", they are defeated because they have just stated an absolute, and if they say "no," they are defeated because they have admitted they don't know what they are talking about.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth. He is all-attractive because he exceeds everyone in all of existence by possessing unlimitedly all the qualities that are attractive namely power, beautify, renunciation, knowledge, wealth, and fame.
