Don't Be Insane

Out of the 8,400,000 species of life the human form is the one chance we have to go back to our original home in the spiritual world. Therefore we should not foolishly waste our time in the maddened pursue of material senses gratification, which will force us to take birth again here in this miserable material world. The only intelligent course of action is to fully surrender ourselves unto Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, under the expert guidance of the bona fide spiritual master. This and only this makes sense. Anything else is complete total insanity.​​​​​​​

Answer: Devotees Do Not Waste Time

Devotees do not waste their time playing frivolous sports because such sporting does nothing at all to advance their Krishna consciousness. Rather it is a diversion from their Krishna consciousness. Life is short. Therefore we must engage every minute of our daily 24 hours fully absorbed in Krishna’s service.

Such sporting also does nothing at all to deliver the fallen souls of this world from their entanglement in the cycle of birth and death. Therefore the devotees of Krishna fully engage themselves 24 hours a day in the ultimate sport of awakening pure of love of God within their own hearts while simultaneously pushing forward a spiritual revolution for the respiritualization of the entire global society to save these poor souls of the present day misdirected civilization from being dragged down to the animal kingdom in their next lives. Instead of wasting their time in frivolous sports the devotees work diligently to defeat the present day demoniac world culture and replace it with Krishna conscious culture.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments. Krishna is not a myth, nor is He an ordinary historical personality. He is the Supreme All-Attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the oldest of all while simultaneously maintaining the form of a 16 year old youth.
