The devotee always remains humble. He never thinks that he is some of kind of great personality, even if he is glorified as a great personality. Since he always feels himself to be honeycombed with innumerable faults, he is pleased and feels greatly blessed when someone points out his faults.

With reference to your daily broadcast Q & A dated 28 Nov 15,

I have heard Krishna's pastimes many times since birth, but I have never felt ecstatic symptoms. So how can I accept their authenticity?

Answer: Qualify Yourself to Taste the Nectar

A person who is suffering from jaundice will not taste sugar candy as sweet. For him the taste will be bitter. The cure for jaundice is to take sugar candy. So if the jaundice patient regularly takes sugar candy in spite of its bitterness, it will gradually regain its natural sweetness. So if you want to taste the ecstasy of the pastimes of the Supreme Lord, you must become free from your material disease by regularly hearing about them from Krishna's devotees, not materialists. In this way your disease of material consciousness will gradually become cured and you will taste unlimited nectar when you hear Krishna's pastimes. Furthermore by regularly relishing the pastimes of Krishna you will qualify yourself to enter into and be a part of Krishna's pastimes. Then you will know for sure how authentic they are.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here. But at least may it suffice for me to say for now that Gayatri taught me what it means to be a soft-hearted devotee of the Lord and she gave me my first cooking lesson, teaching me how to make cauliflower pakoras, and Amarendra taught me the art of how to preach strongly, intelligently, and coolly to defeat opposing arguments.
