The Absolute Need for a Real Guru

One of the main goals of our e-course is to train our readers how to distinguish between who is a real guru, i.e. a bona fide guru, and who is not a real guru, i.e. a bogus guru. Just like when one seeks medical treatment he approaches a bona fide medical doctor, not a quack, when one desires to be educated with genuine spiritual knowledge he requires the guidance and blessings of a real guru, a genuine guru, not a fake guru or a quack guru.

Unfortunately at the present time, the world is overwhelmed by a deluge of bogus gurus, spiritual quacks, who do not have genuine spiritual knowledge and who thus grossly misguide their students and disciples. This is why at the present time that the world is embroiled in ever-increasing chaos. When the world population learns how to distinguish between a real and a bogus guru there will be the dawning of a new age of peace and prosperity the like of which has not been experienced on this planet for the last 5,000 years.

Fortunately, there are some bona fide spiritual masters available on this planet for those who are serious about attaining spiritual perfection. Anyone who seriously follows the merciful guidance of these fully qualified gurus will be blessed with the highest spiritual perfection of pure love of God. He will escape the vicious cycle of birth and go home, back to Godhead.

Question: Krishna Consciousness and University Studies?

Now I'm a student at Sofia university. Sometimes it's a little bit difficult to practice Krishna consciousness and to study at the university. How can I be Krishna conscious and also do well in my studies? What is the best: to be very good in my university studies or to focus on process of Krishna consciousness very seriously.

Also I want to listen your lectures recorded recently in Bulgaria. How can I find them?

Answer: First Krishna Then Your Studies

To remain Krishna consciousness while studying at the university is very easy. Simply you must rise early every morning and chant 16 rounds of Hare Krishna japa mala before you begin your studies. In this way you will easily be able to remember Krishna throughout the day and thus remain always happy in Krishna consciousness. Of course, Krishna consciousness is more important than university studies, but as everyone requires a means of livelihood your university studies are also important, and you should excel in them.

Heart Melting Reunion with Amarendra and Gayatri

On Friday 26 June 2015 I was blessed with the greatest good fortune of meeting with two of the dearest devotees of my entire life, His Grace Amarendra Prabhu and his good wife, Srimati Gayatri devi dasi. I am eternally indebted to these great souls for how much they helped me in my spiritual life when I was a young devotee. When I was young brahmacari monk in 1973 I joined with the two of them in Gainesville, Florida. We were a three person preaching center, and they were just like a mother and father to me. I had so many wonderful Krishna conscious experiences in their association that I can hardly begin to describe them here.
