How to Connect with the Krishnanet

The internet is everywhere, but unless one has the means of connecting with it one cannot reap its benefit. Similarly Krishna is everywhere, but unless one knows how to connect with Him one remains in illusion, misery and confusion. This art or science of connecting with Krishna is called Krishna consciousness.

Just as Krishna is illuminated, if we are connected with Krishna, simply by His touch we are also illuminated. And if we fall away from Krishna, our spiritual power and illumination are finished. Yoga means connecting or linking with Krishna, the original source of all existence. And viyoga means disconnection. The problem with our present day human society is that we are all viyogis when we should instead all be yogis.

To become a yogi, to connect with Krishna, is not at all difficult. One simply has to follow this instruction of Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad-gita and his life will become perfect:

man-manā bhava mad-bhakto
mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru
mām evaiṣyasi yuktvaivam
ātmānaṁ mat-parāyaṇaḥ

"Engage your mind always in thinking of Me, become My devotee, offer obeisances to Me and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me."

So, may everyone now throughout the entire universe adopt this verse as the guiding principle of their lives. When you are connected with Krishna you are connected with everything.

Complaint: You Are a Dogmatic Paganist Idol Worshiper

Alas, your spiritual experience is absolutely egocentric. You have a big false ego. You are a dogmatic, paganist-idol worshiper and very bad philosopher, an unwise man.

Answer: The Spiritual Master is Only a Messenger.

In regards to what you have written me, kindly carefully and thoughtfully consider the following points:

When the postman delivers the letter to you, you may not like the contents of the letter, but this is not the fault of the postman. He is simply delivering to you the letter written by someone else. Similarly, the spiritual master is nothing but a postman delivering the message that has been sent by Krishna. The spiritual master’s qualification is that he does not add anything to the message or subtract anything from the teachings of Krishna.

If you are disturbed by the teachings, you cannot find fault with the spiritual master because he is simply acting like a postman on the order of Krishna to deliver to you what Sri Krishna instructs in the Bhagavad-gita. If you find the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita to be disturbing, you should take your complaint to Lord Krishna, who has spoken the Bhagavad-gita. If you find the teachings of the Gita to be fallacious and you have a better explanation for our existence, we would be very eager to hear your version of reality. If you have a better explanation than Lord Krishna, we will all become your devotees. Therefore we request you to kindly give us your explanation of reality so we can compare your teachings with the teachings of Lord Krishna to see if you can explains things better than Lord Sri Krishna.
