Sweet Melancholy Upon Leaving Vrindavana
Today we are leaving Vrindavana. There is always a sense of melancholy in my heart upon departing from this place where the Lord's transcendental pastimes are going on even to this very day. But there is a sweetness to this melancholy because the feeling of being separated from the Lord and His abode brings us even closer to the Lord. Therefore in great joy I am heading out for spreading the glories of Lord Sri Krishna in various places around the world. Srila Prabhupada says that Vrindavana is in our heart. So there is no reason to ever be outside of this holiest of all abodes. We can remain eternally in Vrindavana by always diving deeper and deeper into the sweet nectarean mellows of Krishna consciousness and fully dedicating our lives to spreading the glories of Lord Sri Krishna all over the world.

Question: Material Success Or Noble Deeds Is More Important?
Which is more important: material success or noble deeds? Which of the two will give us ultimate success for the purpose for which we were given human birth?Amit Gupta

Answer: Neither of the Above
Neither of them are important because neither of them will give us liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Srimad Bhagavatam emphatically declares that any activity which does not bring one to the point of pure love of God is a useless waste of time. While material success and noble deeds may give a temporary sense of happiness, they will not give one the only real benefit, which is deliverance from the miserable ocean of birth and death. Therefore the only recourse for one who wants to realize the purpose of this human birth is to surrender himself fully to Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.Sankarshan Das Adhikari
